Description
This is a basic 6 Ply top down sock pattern with a hard wearing cushioned heel. It is a great pattern to get you started on your journey into the addictive world of sock knitting.
Each 6 ply sock pattern is written to a specific shoe size. The range of sizes you can choose from are sizes 2 to 15. If you would like to make a pair of socks in a different size there is a table on the back page of the pattern.
The pattern will guide you through each of the stages of knitting your sock and it is broken down into the following sections:
Long tail cast on
Rib
Leg of sock
Reinforced Heel
Gusset
Foot of sock
Toe decrease
Kitchener Stitch to close toe.

We have a selection of hand dyed yarns available for you to make up your socks and some Double Pointed Needles or Circular needles to get you going.
