Acid Dyes in Dye Colours Navy
These acid dyes are great for dyeing a range of protein fibres which include wool, alpaca, mohair, silk and feathers. When dyeing at a medium colour level 1g of dye will dye 100g of fibre.
This type of dye is fixed with heat and an acid such as citric acid or white vinegar. They can be used in a variety of dyeing methods including on the hob, in the microwave, slow cooker, solar. You just need to make sure that any untensils are kept seperate for dyeing only.
